Existence is illusion, non-existence is truth.

Physics gives rise to observer-participancy; observer-participancy gives rise to information; and information gives rise to physics — John Archibald Wheeler

Beliefs

  1. Science, mathematics, language, and perception are useful illusory interfaces, not fundamental truths about reality.
  2. Observer and observed are inseparable, and objects, selves, time, space, and causality arise only within finite frames of reference — projections.
  3. The individual brain-body is meaningless — the more relevant self is an extended system entangled with tools and institutions and beyond.
  4. The long-run trajectory is collective unification—humans plus tools becoming a higher entity driven by physical necessity, ultimately tending toward being the whole.
  5. Existence is an illusion generated by partial perception: the whole cannot meaningfully be partitioned or externally referenced, so at the deepest level nothing truly exists.

In work and life

Bold, willful self-belief

Self-discovery and truth is uncertainty

Wonder as a child — look up at the stars

Frustration and doubt is good — keep pushing

Avoid complacency, conservatism, impatience

Deep observation and questioning of everything

Continual reinvention — no shortcuts or repetition

Your path may be outside of conventions — Challenge your thinking and unconscious boundaries
